To catch you up!

Wyatt at just over 8 months showing off his teeth!

So I have been meaning to do one of these for so long so I am WAY behind on putting up Wyatt's milestones! He is growing so quickly. I suppose I will just start a monthly rundown.

As of right now Wyatt still only has two teeth, the same two he has had since mid-September, the two on the bottom in the middle. He is around 25 pounds and over 30" tall but I am not sure exactly how much because his next appointment isn't until December 16th. He is in some 12 months clothing and some 18 months and in size 4 diapers.

I will do this as if I actually posted on the 12th but the milestones he hit during his 7th month were:
His pincher grasp developed and he loves feeding himself!

He is still cruising around furniture, as he has been since 6 months

At the end of month seven he began to take a few steps at a time on his own

Began attempting to stand alone, though it doesn't last long.

He says Mom, Da, Hi, and Bye

He loves drinking from his sippy cup on his own and has begun to transition from the bottle to the cup

He is eating food from our plates and no longer wants to eat baby food (He spits it back at us!)

He cries when mommy or daddy leave his sight, if we take something away from him, and if he can't reach something that he wants

Object permanence is in full swing and he loves to throw things off his high chair or out of the living room just to see where it went

Some of my favorite things that he does are:
sitting by himself with a toy that plays music and sings along
jumps up and down in his crib with a huge smile when I go into his room to get him from bed
When he waves at me and says "Ha" (this began in month 8)
When he comes as fast as he can because he sees me with something to eat (My little piggy!)
When he uses me as an off road course for crawling over when I am on the floor playing with him
When he splashes in the tub and gets so excited about his rubber duckies!

He loves:
being outside
looking out the living room window to see outside
tugging on Jace and Max
watching Jace and Max play
crawling through his blow up ball pit
and he loves to turn his hand around while he is waving "hi" or "bye" to see what it is doing
